Work Balance

The first half of my career was spent in the insurance industry, culminating in part owning and running an international loss adjusting company in Mexico.  However it was only upon my return to the UK, moving towards my passion for positive psychology that I began to feel deeply fulfilled by my work.

For the past 15 years I have had the honour of helping people improve their lives and general wellbeing. Since 2006 I have worked voluntarily as a part-time counsellor and supervisor for a national bereavement charity and have juggled that with the great joy of bringing up my children. In 2013, wanting to help clients who were dealing with trauma, and for whom talking therapies had limited success, I discovered Human Givens psychotherapy and the brief solution-focused way of dealing with subconscious belief change.  However as I have grown as a person (seeing others more holistically as minds, bodies and souls) I was drawn to PSYCH-K® and enjoy incorporating this into my practise for those clients who specifically ask for it.

Life Balance

When I’m not working with private clients in face-to-face sessions or via the internet, or working with organisations I volunteer for, I can be found enjoying the world with my two children and partner who love adventuring and sampling all that life has to offer. Or you may find me in coffee shops/theatres/exhibitions/art galleries enjoying life, laughter and the company of my dear friends.
